ARDEX UK has launched a complete same-day industrial flooring system, pairing ARDEX K 71 Rapid Drying Industrial Topping and Wearing Surface with the new ARDEX PU 30 Polyurethane Primer and Moisture Barrier. Together they give flooring contractors a primed, levelled, walkable industrial floor within a single shift — without the mixing, pot life and waiting time that comes with two-part resin primers.

ARDEX PU 30 is a one-part polyurethane primer that is ready to use straight from the tub — no mixing, no measuring and no waste — and is dry and walkable from just 60 minutes. It also acts as a moisture barrier on damp substrates, controlling residual construction moisture with one coat to 90% RH or two coats to 98% RH, and encapsulates problematic lignite so the topping bonds to a sound surface.

ARDEX K 71 completes the system: a rapid drying industrial topping and wearing surface, pump or hand applied from 3–30mm neat or up to 50mm with aggregate, achieving AR0.5 abrasion resistance suitable for heavy wheeled traffic. The floor takes foot traffic from 2 hours and can receive resin coatings from 12 hours — keeping programmes moving in warehousing, manufacturing and logistics environments where downtime costs money.
