This summer the Walpole Arms Public House in New Cross, London underwent a refurbishment, using ARDEX building products throughout.
The centre piece for this project is a portrait of Sir Robert Walpole, who many historians consider the first, and longest serving, Prime Minister of Great Britain. The portrait was created using PanDOMO® Wall, a specialist thin coat render which helped create a smooth and textured finish, with a combination of multiple colours applied in a Fresco technique.
The floor was completed using PanDOMO® Loft, a levelling compound that creates a finished surface with the appearance of a polished concrete floor. To create the tile effect pattern on the floor, Artstone, a PanDOMO® approved applicator, used additional layers of pigmented PanDOMO® Loft and a stencil.
Applicator: Artstone
